Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mr Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Dox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang swinging wildly here.

The fight stays on the outside here - Dox looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dox slips a jab and a cross from Wang.
Wang scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Wang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wang swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dox ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wang tries to bum rush Dox with a series of wild strikes but Dox uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wang throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Dox tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wang defending well as Dox loads up on a big left hand.
Wang slips a straight right by Dox.
No joy there for Wang, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wang's waist but Wang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dox off to one side.
Wang displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dox.
Dox steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wang.
Wang checks a leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Dox or perhaps it was just good defense by Wang which made him look bad.
Mr Wang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Dox.
Wang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dox shoots in looking for a takedown. Wang tries to sprawl out of it but Dox keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wang. Dox does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dox throws a sloppy head kick and Wang moves out of range easily.
Wang misses with a wild combination.
Dox dives in and grabs Wang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wang pushes down on Dox's head and hops out.
Dox rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wang leaves Dox with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dox shoots in but Wang avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wang swivels and escapes.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wang falls off balance throwing a combination

and Dox counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wang won't be happy with that.
Wang is breathing heavily.
Wang is looking to get back to his feet here but Dox is keeping cool and he's managed to take Wang's back.

Wang won't enjoy being in this position. Dox looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Wang is tapping - it's over boys! Dox picks up the submission victory!
