Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cerventes Bison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rick James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cerventes Bison!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. James tries to avoid it but Bison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag James to the ground. James escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Bison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bison throws a looping overhand right but James ducks down to avoid it.
James drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
James thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bison is looking to reverse the position.
Bison is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bison stuck in half guard on the bottom here.
The ground and pound from James seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bison's waist but Bison gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.
James staying out of range there.
James gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bison counters with a left and a right that stings James.
James shoots for a double leg takedown but Bison sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick James. That's going to take a lot out of him.
James ducks under a wild hook from Bison.
James has his takedown stuffed
and Bison counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
James walks into a stiff left hand from Bison.
Bison keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice sprawl there from Bison as James shoots in.
James is breathing heavily.
Bison drops his shoulder and cracks James with a huge uppercut! James goes down! Can Bison finish him?
James is rocked!
It looks like Rick James has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bison gets to his feet and stands over James, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! James felt that one! Bison unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save James from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cerventes Bison!
