The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pepper fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Norris sprawls well initially but Pepper persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Pepper is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Norris is staying active underneath Pepper, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Norris works his way to full guard. Good work.
Pepper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Norris is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Norris throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Norris is looking to stand back up but Pepper counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Norris.
Norris is trying to control Pepper's posture but Pepper avoids it.
Norris tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pepper wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pepper tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Pepper in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Norris is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
