PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Grant Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon comes to the cage accompanied by Last resort. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Gordon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Gordon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jackson's waist but Jackson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gordon off to one side.
Grant Gordon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gordon was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gordon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Gordon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
