Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcurius lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Marcurius is defended easily by Neder.
Marcurius lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Marcurius closes this distance looking for a takedown but Neder circles away.
Marcurius throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Neder on the side of the head.
Marcurius throws a leg kick which misses Neder's front leg but catches the back leg as Neder tries to avoid it.
Neder closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I would just about give that final round to Derek Neder.
