Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Armageddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Judge Dred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dred has chosen No Easy Way Out as his entrance music. Judge Dred has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alistair Armageddon's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armageddon misses with a two punch combination.
Dred tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dred avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dred wants to land a leg kick but Armageddon is out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Armageddon is defended easily by Dred.
Dred's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Dred duly obliges.
Armageddon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dred throws a left that rocks Armageddon and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Dred dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Armageddon regain composure!

Armageddon is rocked!

It looks like Alistair Armageddon has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The ground and pound from Dred seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Dred stands up.

Dred circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dred closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Armageddon darts in and clinches Dred up against the cage.
Armageddon prevents Dred from breaking the clinch.
Armageddon is pushing Dred up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Armageddon misses the shot to the body.
Dred swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Dred fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Armageddon manages to avoid it.
Armageddon tries to close the distance and clinch but Dred swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Armageddon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dred.
Dred connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Armageddon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dred fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Armageddon checks it well.
Dred takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Armageddon counters with a series of strikes. Dred will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dred throws a combination. Armageddon tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dred gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

and Dred counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Armageddon down! Dred is looking to finish but Armageddon is intelligently defending himself.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dred is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Armageddon seems to have got his legs back now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dred tries to stand but Armageddon is controlling from the bottom.

Dred is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Armageddon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Armageddon has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Armageddon wants to control but Dred is keeping him busy.
Dred pushes Armageddon off looking to stand but Armageddon dives back in and keeps control.

Armageddon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Dred tries to get to full guard but Armageddon has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Armageddon is looking to advance position but Dred won't allow it.
Armageddon is keen to just control but Dred is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dred throws a body kick that misses.
Armageddon throws a push kick but Dred slaps the foot to one side.
Good work by Armageddon as he checks the leg kick.
Dred finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

and Dred connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Judge Dred seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Dred grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Armageddon takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Dred cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
