Mother's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, God of Thunder - Kiss. Animal Mother has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mother looks to land a right hand but Perry moved out of range.
Mother lands a left and a right that send Perry crashing to the mat, dazed. Mother thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Perry is rocked!
It looks like Dwayne Perry has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mother fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mother throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A combination from Mother does no damage.
Perry throws the left hand but Mother avoids the punch easily.
Perry tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Some wild striking there from Mother.
Mother throws a series of punches but Perry avoids them all with ease.
Perry lands with a right hand.
Perry defending well as Mother loads up on a big left hand.
Mother throws a right hand that Perry ducks under and follows up with a left that Perry also avoids with ease.
Mother throws a hook but Perry avoids it easily.
Perry misses with a straight left.
Perry fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mother sprawls well initially but Perry persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mother avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Perry.
Perry throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Perry looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Perry is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mother doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Perry.
Mother keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Perry not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Mother sends Perry crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Mother is motioning to the referee to let Perry up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

No joy there for Perry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mother connects with a nice cross there... Perry is looking wobbly and Mother recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Perry to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Mother jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
