Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Northman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saint Michaels will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Northman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Saint Michaels!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Northman gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Michaels pulls guard effortlessly.
Northman works over Michaels with some ground and pound from guard.
Michaels controls Northman momentarily but Northman frees himself.
Northman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Northman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Michaels is on top in guard.
Northman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Northman working for a triangle but Michaels defends it easily.
Michaels throws a strike but Northman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Michaels has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Michaels trying to keep a closed guard but Northman is proving a slippery customer.
Northman is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Northman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

It looks like Saint Michaels has been cut.
Northman trying to control but Michaels is working from the bottom.
Michaels thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Michaels is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Northman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Michaels pulls his head out easily.
Michaels throws a strike but Northman avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Northman not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Northman pushes Michaels off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Michaels looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Northman is fending him off so far but Michaels persists. Nope, Northman circles away and we're back to standing.

Michaels misses with a takedown attempt - Northman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Michaels shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eric Northman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saint Michaels.
Michaels looks gassed!
Michaels tries to clinch

and Northman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Michaels looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Michaels pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Northman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Northman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee warns Michaels that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Northman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Michaels can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That has opened up Saint Michaels's cut even more.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Northman with a couple of short strikes.

The cut above Saint Michaels's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Northman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Michaels is looking to escape.
Northman lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Michaels is rocked!

Saint Michaels's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Saint Michaels's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
