Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sogyal Dorje (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Koss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sogyal Dorje!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Koss!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorje misses with the combination.
Koss tries to clinch up but Dorje circles away and keeps his distance.
Dorje fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dorje displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Koss.
Koss slips a jab and a cross from Dorje.
Koss throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dorje's waist but Dorje gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koss off to one side.
Koss shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dorje but Dorje pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sogyal Dorje has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Koss.
Dorje lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Koss throws a jab when Dorje was well out of range.
Dorje lands a body shot.
Koss uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dorje.
Koss tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Koss shoots in and drives through. Dorje sprawls well.
Dorje lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Dorje works the jab nicely.
Koss shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dorje defends it nicely.
Dorje scores with a decent looking hook.
Dorje throws a one two combo.
Dorje moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Koss looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dorje dips to his left and cracks Koss with an uppercut!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Koss tries to clinch up.
Dorje circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dorje throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Koss colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Dorje as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Koss is left battered and dazed whilst Dorje and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sogyal Dorje!
