Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luan Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sousa has chosen Voodoo Child as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sousa shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Belfort looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Sousa stands up from half guard.

Sousa lands a big head kick that sends Belfort tumbling to the mat! Sousa takes a step backwards and waves Belfort back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sousa drops Belfort with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Belfort looks back up at him and smiles so Sousa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Belfort is rocked!

Oh Belfort is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sousa ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Belfort's jaw. Belfort's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Sousa does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Luan Sousa!
