Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between kev smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Trotter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). smith comes to the cage accompanied by summertime. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trotter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. smith defends it nicely.
Nice takedown defense from smith. No joy for Trotter on that attempt.
smith slaps away a takedown attempt from Trotter, before circling back to the center of the mat.
kev smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodney Trotter.
Trotter lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like kev smith has been cut.
smith shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Trotter's guard.
Trotter wants to control but smith passes easily into half guard.
smith is looking to advance position but Trotter won't allow it.
Trotter lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
smith is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
smith works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Trotter tries to get back to half guard but can't.
smith controlling the position easily from mount.
Trotter tries to improve his position but smith has taken his back! smith has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Trotter tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! smith pushes Trotter away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
