Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Murvis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Jr Jonesy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Murvis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Jr Jonesy!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jonesy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Murvis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Jonesy tries to control but Murvis wriggling away.

Jonesy with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Jonesy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Murvis can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Jonesy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Murvis's waist but Murvis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jonesy off to one side.

Jonesy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Murvis.

Murvis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jonesy sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Murvis throws out a powerful jab.
Jonesy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Murvis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Murvis cracks Jonesy with a good jab.
Murvis blocks a leg kick.
Murvis throws a right hand that Jonesy ducks under and follows up with a left that Jonesy also avoids with ease.
Murvis scores with a sloppy right hand. Jonesy should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Murvis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jonesy throws a nice looking combination but Murvis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Murvis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jonesy finds it's way round the side to connect with Murvis's head.
Murvis connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jonesy. Jonesy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Murvis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ronald Murvis.
I think Murvis has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
