The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Campbell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mathews moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mathews swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lawrence Campbell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Campbell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mathews had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Campbell defends it easily.

Campbell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mathews has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Campbell has managed to get both his arms back between Mathews's legs - danger averted.
