Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hanibal Kane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kane lands in his opponent's guard.
Kane looking to sit in guard and control but Shango gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kane tries to get out of the position.
Shango decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Kane closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kane lands in his opponent's guard.

Shango has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kane off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Shango throws a looping overhand right but Kane ducks down to avoid it.

Shango might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kane kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Shango has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kane has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kane accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kane is sitting in close to Shango's body. Shango has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kane is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kane is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Shango.
