The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grasie moves away from the strike by Brit.
Grasie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Grasie walks into a jab.

It looks like Nipao Grasie has been cut.
Brit misses with a two punch combination.
Brit throws a looping overhand right but Grasie ducks down to avoid it.

Johnny Brit seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A telegraphed right hand from Brit misses the target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brit. Grasie does a little dance to reset his feet.

Brit throws a lazy right hand but Grasie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Grasie blocks a jab.
Brit is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Grasie's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Brit throws a hook but Grasie avoids it easily.

Brit waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Grasie.
Brit is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Grasie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brit to the mat! Brit manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Brit is breathing heavily.

Grasie drops back looking for a leg! Brit is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brit manages to kick Grasie off! Grasie jumps back into Brit's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grasie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Grasie stops Brit from standing up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brit misses with an uppercut. Grasie saw that one coming.
Brit throws a hook but Grasie avoids it easily.

Brit gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Grasie to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Grasie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brit is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brit has escaped and now he's on top!
Brit has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Grasie is looking to sinch up a triangle. Brit throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Grasie's body to avoid the submission. Grasie has instead reached around Brit's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Grasie arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
