Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Assis Civita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marciano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. REDEMPTION SONG kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Civita misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Marciano throws a sloppy head kick and Civita moves out of range easily.
Marciano lands with a cross.
Marciano uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Civita.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Civita misses with an uppercut.
Marciano throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marciano goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Marciano throws a good cross that connects.
Civita will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Civita misses with a jab, cross combination.
Civita changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marciano tries to avoid it but Civita manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marciano to the ground. Marciano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Civita moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Civita looks to land a combination but Marciano avoids it well.
Civita changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marciano ducks right into an uppercut from Civita.
Civita takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

The crowd cheers as Marciano lands an impressive looking overhand right. Civita doesn't seem phased though.

Civita ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marciano moves away.
Assis Civita seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marciano's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Marciano duly obliges.
Civita steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Marciano. That one must have hurt.
Civita avoids a punch combination nicely.
Don Marciano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Marciano wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Marciano, right into the meat.
Marciano throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Civita misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Marciano scores with the left hand. Civita knows he should have avoided that one.

Civita is rocked!
Civita takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Oh Civita is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marciano circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Civita to the canvas! Civita doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Marciano keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
