The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blockhead misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Blockhead, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blockhead throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Blockhead throws a series of punches but Whites moves out of range.

Blockhead uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Whites has time to react.
Whites shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Blockhead napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Whites working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Blockhead parries the strikes from Whites easily there. Whites is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Blockhead to escape.
Whites goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Blockhead has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Whites but great work by Blockhead.
