The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka wants to clinch.
A slow jab from Donovan misses its intended target.
Tanaka tries to clinch up but Donovan circles away and keeps his distance.
Donovan cracks Tanaka with an open hand slap.
Donovan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tanaka.
Tanaka tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Donovan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Donovan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Donovan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Donovan duly obliges.
It looks like Rio Tanaka has been cut.
Tanaka tries to clinch but Donovan moves out of range.
Tanaka moves in looking to clinch but Donovan pushes him off.
Donovan tests Tanaka's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Donovan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Tanaka is looking to clinch.
Donovan lunges at Tanaka with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tanaka's hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Donovan lands a jab.
Tanaka takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Tanaka is rocked!
Donovan cracks Tanaka with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Tanaka falls to his knees and Donovan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
