The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Pierre dodges the punch combination from Percello.
St Pierre slips a jab and a cross from Percello.
St Pierre throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Percello's waist but Percello gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing St Pierre off to one side.
Percello gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A head punch on the inside from Percello fails to land.
St Pierre jumps into guard, dragging Percello to the mat.
Percello trying to stand up but can't free himself from St Pierre's guard.
St Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Percello can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Percello is looking to stand up but St Pierre won't let him.
St Pierre working for a triangle but Percello defends it easily.
Percello trying to control the position from guard on top but St Pierre is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Percello slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
St Pierre is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Percello frees his head nicely. Oh but St Pierre has switched to an armbar! Percello is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
