The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macidonia is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Limmen.
Eden Macidonia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macidonia throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Limmen throws a series of strikes that have Macidonia backpedaling.
It looks like Eden Macidonia has been cut.
Limmen lands with a nice body punch.
Limmen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Macidonia counters with a straight right hand.
A right-left combo lands from Limmen.
Macidonia throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Limmen.
Limmen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Macidonia.
Limmen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Macidonia.
Macidonia misses with a combination
and Limmen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Limmen lands a left and a right that send Macidonia crashing to the mat, dazed. Limmen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Macidonia fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Macidonia moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Macidonia throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Limmen counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Macidonia is rocked!
Macidonia throws a right and a left that Limmen avoids nicely.
Macidonia falls off balance throwing a combination
and Limmen counters with a left and a right... And another left! Macidonia is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
