The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peloma bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Skiter's head.
Peloma connects with a crisp jab.
Skiter takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Skiter on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Skiter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Skiter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Peloma pushes Skiter off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Peloma stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Peloma wants it to stay on the feet.

Peloma makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Skiter gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Peloma stuffs the takedown.
Peloma connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Skiter closes the distance and clinches up with Peloma, looking for a takedown. Skiter pushes Peloma against the ropes but Peloma circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Skiter shoots in for a takedown but Peloma shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Skiter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Peloma defends it nicely.

Skiter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peloma's waist but Peloma gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Skiter off to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Oh Skiter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Peloma uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Skiter has time to react.
Peloma dips to his left and cracks Skiter with an uppercut!
Peloma paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Skiter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Peloma is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Peloma lands a lovely overhand right.
Skiter walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Skiter takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Peloma might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Skiter walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Nice uppercut lands for Peloma. That snapped Skiter's head back.

Skiter shoots in for a double leg but Peloma sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Skiter tries to move into range but Peloma moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Peloma takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Peloma lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Skiter closes this distance looking for a takedown but Peloma circles away.
Peloma lands a jab-cross combination.
Peloma scores with a sloppy right hand. Skiter should have avoided that one.
Skiter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Peloma connects with a right hand. Skiter shakes it off.

Skiter has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Skiter there as he acknowledges the shot.

Peloma fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Skiter on the side of the head.

A nice combination there by Peloma.
Peloma cracks Skiter with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Skiter falls to his knees and Peloma doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
