The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott doesn't manage to clinch there - Wrangle circles away.
Scott wants to clinch up but Wrangle keeps it at a distance.
Scott tries to clinch but Wrangle moves out of range.
Scott moves in looking to clinch but Wrangle pushes him off.

Wrangle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Scott keeping full guard, as Wrangle tries to pass.
Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wrangle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wrangle passes into half guard.
Wrangle is trying to control the action in half guard but Scott is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Wrangle trying to mount his opponent but Scott defends it.
Wrangle not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Scott won't allow Wrangle to pass to mount.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Scott doesn't manage to clinch there - Wrangle circles away.
Wrangle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Scott sprawls well. Scott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wrangle gets slowly back to his feet.
Scott wants to clinch up but Wrangle keeps it at a distance.

The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wrangle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wrangle showed some decent athleticism there.
Scott is staying active underneath Wrangle, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Wrangle is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Scott!
Scott tries to lock up and control but Wrangle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wrangle unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Scott wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wrangle celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
