The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Despite being in the dominant position, Greg MacDonald just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

MacDonald throws a strike but Hernandez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Hernandez has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. MacDonald doesn't defend quickly enough and Hernandez has managed to lock this one up! Can MacDonald escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hernandez on a fantastic submission victory.
