Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Macho Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James King is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Macho Savage!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Savage closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
King is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Savage is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage misses with the ground and pound.

Savage wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Savage shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

King is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Savage misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Savage cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Savage bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.

Savage seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Savage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Macho Savage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! King's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Savage shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. King manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Let's hope that Savage has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Savage has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
