Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chen throws a lazy right hand but Machida sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Chen drops Machida with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Machida looks back up at him and smiles so Chen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Wanderlei Machida has been cut.

Chen sends Machida crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Chen is motioning to the referee to let Machida up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
