Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Kamikaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoshi Kamikaze is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Kamikaze!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux misses with a double jab.

Kamikaze shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Kamikaze shoots in looking for a takedown. Dux tries to sprawl out of it but Kamikaze keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dux manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kamikaze shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dux as he jumps to the side.
Dux misses with a few strikes there.

Frank Dux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshi Kamikaze.
Dux keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kamikaze shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dux defends it nicely.

Kamikaze tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dux swivels and escapes.
Dux throws a nice looking combination but Kamikaze bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dux leaves Kamikaze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Yoshi Kamikaze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kamikaze will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dux lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Decent striking displayed by Dux there.
Dux lands with a kick to the temple. Kamikaze shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Dux misses with a head kick.
No joy there for Dux, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kamikaze closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dux circles away.
Dux works over Kamikaze's head and body with a nice combination.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Kamikaze fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dux connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kamikaze's hands.
Dux rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kamikaze moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dux lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Dux keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

That has opened up Yoshi Kamikaze's cut even more.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kamikaze.
Dux takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dux swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kamikaze avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dux throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dux misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dux looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kamikaze tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dux sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kamikaze somewhat.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kamikaze closes the distance and clinches up with Dux, looking for a takedown. Kamikaze pushes Dux against the cage but Dux circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dux scores with a nice strike.

Kamikaze fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dux avoids it really well and circles away.

Dux throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A punch lands to the side of Kamikaze 's head but he takes it in his stride.

The cut above Yoshi Kamikaze's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Kamikaze is breathing heavily.

Dux moves into range and connects with a jab.

Yoshi Kamikaze's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Kamikaze shoots for a takedown but Dux saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
