Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buhawi Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tix Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is enter sandman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Buhawi Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tix Pain!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack fails to land with a series of punches.
Jack keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jack lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Buhawi Jack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jack lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jack but Jack pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jack dips to his left and cracks Pain with an uppercut!
Jack lands a right hook to the body.
Jack lands a jab to the head.
Jack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pain circles away quickly and effectively.

Jack misses with a leg kick.
Jack lands a jab-cross combination.
Jack misses with a wild combination.
Jack looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Jack darts in and clinches Pain up against the cage.
Pain tries for a takedown. No joy.
Buhawi Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tix Pain.

Jack pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jack misses with a wild combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jack is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pain.
Jack throws a right and a left that both miss.
Pain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jack tries to avoid it but Pain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jack to the ground. Jack escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jack lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jack.
Pain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jack goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Jack misses with the combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pain takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jack defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pain.
Jack will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jack throws a head kick but Pain moves out of range.
Jack throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jack fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pain manages to avoid it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Jack fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pain shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pain fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pain tries for a takedown but Jack sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jack swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jack jabs Pain right on the nose. Pain blinks but takes it well.
Jack misses with a two punch combination.
Pain takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Buhawi Jack dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Pain takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jack misses with a wild body shot.
Jack tries to land a front kick but Pain steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A leg kick checked by Pain.
Jack throws a nice looking combination but Pain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Pain closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pain lands in his opponent's guard.

Jack has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jack wants to stand and escape but Pain is having none of it.

Pain throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jack is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pain defends well.

Jack looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Jack has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Pain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jack is fending him off so far but Pain persists. Nope, Jack circles away and we're back to standing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Pain scores a takedown into full mount!
Jack bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Pain manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jack manages to get himself to full guard.

Jack looking for a guillotine here but Pain defends easily.
Pain slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Pain is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jack is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Pain is trying to get an arm triangle but Jack is defending well.
Jack tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pain wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Pain working away.
Pain cracks Jack with a big elbow.
Jack is trying to get back to his feet.
Pain lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Pain advances nicely into full mount.
Pain tries to control but Jack wriggling away.
Pain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jack wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Jack manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Jack is defending against the submission attempts here by Pain.

Jack pushes Pain off and gets back to his feet.

Jack moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jack works the jab nicely.

Pain shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pain showed some decent athleticism there.
Jack is looking to improve his position.
Jack trying to hold on to Pain's head to control him but Pain postures up.
Jack is staying active underneath Pain, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Tix Pain showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jack tries to clinch up but Pain circles away and keeps his distance.

Pain tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jack swivels and escapes.

Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pain paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jack is looking to clinch but Pain is avoiding it.
Jack throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jack throws a combination. Pain tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jack tries to clinch up but Pain circles away and keeps his distance.
Jack throws a leg kick which misses Pain's front leg but catches the back leg as Pain tries to avoid it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
A punch combination from Jack misses.
Jack fails to land with a series of punches.
Jack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pain circles away quickly and effectively.
Jack throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jack stuffs the takedown attempt from Pain. Pain gets slowly back to his feet.
Buhawi Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tix Pain.
Jack scores with a decent looking hook.

Jack is looking to clinch but Pain is avoiding it.
Jack fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jack throws a low kick but Pain avoids it.
Jack closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Jack stalks Pain and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pain's face. Pain staggers backwards, shaken.
Pain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jack.
Pain fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

No joy there for Jack, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jack but Jack pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pain swats away the attempt to clinch by Jack.
Jack lands a jab to the nose.
Jack tries to bum rush Pain with a series of wild strikes but Pain uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

And that's the end of the fight!
Buhawi Jack showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Jack has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
