Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Luka Smeltz!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bone leaves Smeltz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bone looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Smeltz is looking to clinch.
Bone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bone wants it to stay on the feet.

Smeltz lands a big head kick that sends Bone tumbling to the mat! Smeltz takes a step backwards and waves Bone back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like John Bone has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bone looks to clinch

and Smeltz counters with a takedown into side control.


Bone is rocked!
Bone really is a fat lump.
Bone is trying to control Smeltz's posture but Smeltz avoids it.

Smeltz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Smeltz taking a breather here.

Smeltz is trying to get an arm triangle but Bone is defending well.
An elbow from Smeltz crashes against the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A lull in the action here as Smeltz stalls from top position.
Bone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bone tries to get out of the position.
Bone defending against the ground and pound.
Smeltz content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Bone is not content to let Smeltz control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bone is trying to improve his position.
Smeltz working away.
The referee asks Smeltz politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Smeltz prefers to stall for the moment though.
Bone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Smeltz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Luka Smeltz dominated that round.
The cut man is working on John Bone's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Bone closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smeltz is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bone swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Smeltz is trying to break the clinch but Bone has him pressed against the cage.
Smeltz has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bone takes an elbow to the forehead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smeltz has Bone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Smeltz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bone just stands there and leans against the cage.
John Bone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luka Smeltz.
Bone letting Smeltz take a breather here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Smeltz drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bone gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bone decides to pull guard.

Smeltz looking to improve position, pressing down on Bone's thigh with his hand. Bone seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Smeltz paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Smeltz's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Bone picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
