The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi throws the kick towards the body but TBjang avoids it.
Rossi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A bone on bone clash there as TBjang blocks the leg kick.
TBjang stuffs the takedown.
Rossi shoots in but no luck this time.

Rossi on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
TBjang throwing strikes here but Rossi is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

TBjang is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rossi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
TBjang sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

TBjang goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rossi turns into him and now he's in TBjang's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
TBjang wants to sweep here but Rossi controlling him for the moment.

TBjang has his foot on Rossi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rossi works his way back into a safe position though.

Rossi is working TBjang over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
