Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckner comes into the arena with Stand Your Ground And Fight - Acarine (GSE) blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Belfort's choice of entrance music: Stand & Deliver. The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort is looking to clinch but Buckner is avoiding it.
Buckner thows a left - swing and a miss!

Belfort is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Buckner's half guard.
Buckner slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Buckner has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Buckner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Belfort is controlling him.
Belfort tries to free his leg and advance position but Buckner is retaining full guard.
Buckner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Belfort's guard.
Buckner wants to stand but Belfort is controlling his posture from full guard.

Belfort tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Belfort lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Buckner!
Buckner is desperately trying to improve his position but Belfort has a good base and remains in mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Buckner somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Belfort fails to land the takedown.
Belfort doesn't manage to clinch there - Buckner circles away.
Buckner throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Paulo Belfort has been cut.
Buckner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Belfort circles away quickly and effectively.
Belfort shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buckner pinned against the cage. Buckner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Buckner throws a one two combo.
Buckner looks to score with a jab to the body but Belfort is just out of range.

Buckner throws a jab but it's blocked by Belfort.
Belfort throws a low kick but Buckner avoids it.

Matheus Buckner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paulo Belfort.

Buckner is looking to wear down Belfort with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Belfort takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Horrible takedown by Belfort or perhaps it was just good defense by Buckner which made him look bad.

Buckner scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Belfort closes this distance looking for a takedown but Buckner circles away.
Buckner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Buckner lands a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Belfort takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Buckner lands a glancing blow to the side of Belfort's head.
Belfort dodges the punch combination from Buckner.
Buckner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Buckner scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A decent looking cross lands there for Buckner.
Matheus Buckner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Buckner looks to land a combination but Belfort avoids it well.
Belfort steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Buckner.
A head kick misses from Belfort.
Belfort takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Buckner throws a looping overhand right but Belfort ducks down to avoid it.
Buckner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Buckner lands a jab to Belfort's midsection.

That has opened up Paulo Belfort's cut even more.
Buckner fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Buckner throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Belfort on the side of the head.
Belfort doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Buckner cracks Belfort with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Buckner has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Belfort to stand back up!

Belfort is rocked!

Buckner feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Belfort crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
