Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orca Blackfish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artur Klimera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Artur Klimera has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Artur Klimera!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackfish gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Klimera seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Klimera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blackfish. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Klimera wants to control from the top but Blackfish keeps moving.
Blackfish has his hands on Klimera's head, controlling the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Klimera fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blackfish looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Blackfish shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blackfish showed some decent athleticism there.

Blackfish is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Klimera doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Blackfish.
Klimera wants to improve his position but Blackfish is controlling well.
Blackfish working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Blackfish throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Klimera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blackfish's waist but Blackfish gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Klimera off to one side.

Blackfish manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Klimera manages to get himself to full guard.

Blackfish works a leg free and moves into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Klimera can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Blackfish fails with a takedown attempt.

Blackfish gets caught flat footed, as Klimera shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Klimera has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Blackfish is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Klimera thows a big elbow that misses.
Blackfish manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Klimera manages to get himself to full guard.

and Klimera counters with a nice double leg into side control. Blackfish won't be happy with that.

Klimera seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Blackfish does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Klimera shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blackfish's guard.

Blackfish working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Klimera doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Klimera manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Klimera has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
