Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes to the cage accompanied by Judith by a Perfect Circle. Williams comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alice In Chains - Rooster kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Randy Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Johnny Blaze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Williams!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Blaze.

Blaze fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Williams sprawls well initially but Blaze persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Blaze is looking to stall here but Williams recovers full guard.
Williams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Blaze!
Williams is landing with some decent strikes but Blaze is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Williams tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Williams in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blaze keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Williams takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Williams wants to control the pace but Blaze is squirming around nicely.
Williams landing shots from mount.

Williams with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Williams lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Blaze tries to hold on but Williams pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blaze is wriggling around trying to escape.
Williams controlling the position easily from mount.
Williams prevents Blaze from getting the reversal.
Williams wants to control the pace but Blaze is squirming around nicely.
The referee warns Blaze that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Williams takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Williams moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Blaze has worked his arm free - good work by Blaze!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Williams lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Blaze down.
Williams is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Blaze tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Williams content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Williams lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Blaze down.
Blaze takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Williams cracks Blaze with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Williams moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Williams has knee on belly and moves into mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Williams landing shots from mount.
Williams fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Williams is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Williams!
