Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Romano Dzolic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vova Aushev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Romano Dzolic has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Romano Dzolic seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dzolic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Aushev looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Dzolic is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Aushev has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Aushev!
Dzolic controls Aushev momentarily but Aushev frees himself.
Dzolic is really struggling to control Aushev but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Aushev is fighting to break Dzolic's control of his arms but Dzolic is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Dzolic swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Aushev is now in Dzolic's guard. A big mistake from Dzolic there, giving up the dominant position!

Dzolic seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Aushev's chin but Aushev turns very nicely into Dzolic's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Aushev.

Dzolic has his foot on Aushev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Aushev works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dzolic thuds a left hand into Aushev's body.

Dzolic feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Dzolic passes Aushev's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Aushev tries to roll over but Dzolic keeps him under control.
Dzolic wants to stand but Aushev has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Dzolic moves into full mount! Aushev won't be happy about that!

Dzolic working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Aushev looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Dzolic! Submission of the night perhaps?
