Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pacanchik Chetkii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor ITappedOut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pacanchik Chetkii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor ITappedOut!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chetkii shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says ITappedOut as he avoids it easily.

ITappedOut has closed the distance and engaged Chetkii in a clinch.

ITappedOut breaks from the clinch.
Chetkii shoots in for a takedown but ITappedOut shows good takedown defense.
ITappedOut thuds his shin into the meat of Chetkii's side.

ITappedOut drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Chetkii wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

ITappedOut working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and ITappedOut decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chetkii's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like ITappedOut is going to stand back up.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. ITappedOut lands a nice short elbow.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
ITappedOut is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
ITappedOut wants to control but Chetkii is keeping him busy.
ITappedOut looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Chetkii is not content to let ITappedOut control the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chetkii is trying to get back to full guard.
ITappedOut wants to take a breather but Chetkii is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chetkii is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and ITappedOut defends well.

ITappedOut has Chetkii up against the cage in a clinch.
ITappedOut tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

ITappedOut wants to control the position but Chetkii says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Chetkii seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but ITappedOut does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

ITappedOut is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chetkii is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Pacanchik Chetkii is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

so ITappedOut counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
ITappedOut looking to sit in guard and control but Chetkii gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
ITappedOut controls Chetkii momentarily but Chetkii frees himself.

Pacanchik Chetkii has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Fedor ITappedOut is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Chetkii is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in ITappedOut's half guard.

Well ITappedOut has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
