The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round but I would say that Donnie Yen will probably get the nod.

Yen shoots in for a double leg but Jacksson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Yen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jacksson looks for the body kick but Yen saw that one coming.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yen.
Yen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jacksson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yen circles away quickly and effectively.

Yen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Yen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Yen is working an open guard so Jacksson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Jacksson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Yen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jacksson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Jacksson decides to return to a standing position.
No joy there for Jacksson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A decent looking cross lands there for Yen.
Yen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jacksson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yen somewhat.

Yen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jacksson avoids it really well and circles away.

Russel Jacksson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jacksson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Yen wants to clinch up but Jacksson keeps it at a distance.
Jacksson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Jacksson slaps away a takedown attempt from Yen, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Donnie Yen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Yen tries to close the distance and clinch but Jacksson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Jacksson shoots in for a takedown but Yen shows good takedown defense.

Yen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yen wants it to stay on the feet.

Yen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jacksson but Jacksson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Yen seems a little lost for a moment, as Jacksson dominates the positioning.
Yen is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Jacksson is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Jacksson throws some wild stikes that Yen manages to avoid easily.

Yen wants to control but Jacksson is having none of it.
Jacksson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
