Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Henri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Travis Price!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henri throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Henri shoots in and drives through. Price sprawls well.

Price shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Henri napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Henri is trying to control Price's posture but Price avoids it.
Price throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Price throws a strike aimed at the side of Henri's head but Henri avoids it well.

Price bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Henri is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Price seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henri does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Henri manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Paul Henri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Henri wants to control the pace but Price is squirming around nicely.
Price is desperately trying to improve his position but Henri has a good base and remains in mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Henri there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Travis Price showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Henri's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
