Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cha Cha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sosa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dirty Heads-Believe kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cha swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sosa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cha sizes up Sosa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sosa takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Cha keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Cha looks to throw the jab but Sosa is out of range.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sosa!

Cha is working Sosa over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Sosa throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cha escapes and throws Sosa's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Sosa drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cha looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cha looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cha!

Cha looks up at the clock and then as Sosa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cha smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Sosa has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Cha has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Cha Cha overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cha working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Sosa looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Cha! Submission of the night perhaps?
