Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vito Sladkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Rook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rook has chosen Mr Krinkle as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sladkov connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like Yuri Rook has been cut.
Sladkov slips under a jab from Rook.
Sladkov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rook manages to avoid it.
Rook throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice defenses there by Sladkov.
Rook catches Sladkov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

It looks like Vito Sladkov has been cut.
Rook paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rook punishes Sladkov's body with a nice straight punch.
Sladkov is breathing heavily.

Sladkov ducks straight into an uppercut from Rook and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Sladkov manages to regain guard straight away.

Rook is figuring out what he wants to do next.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rook uses his free foot to push down on Sladkov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sladkov.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rook's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Despite being in the dominant position, Yuri Rook just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rook fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rook waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Sladkov. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Sladkov to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Oh Sladkov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Vito Sladkov's cut is getting worse.
Rook throws a big right hand that misses.
Sladkov seems to have got his legs back now.
Rook controls from within his opponent's guard.
Rook advances position into side control!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rook looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yuri Rook dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rook decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rook moves into full mount! Sladkov won't be happy about that!
Sladkov takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Rook controlling the position easily from mount.

Rook looking for a guillotine from mount but Sladkov is having none of it.
Rook has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jeez, Vito Sladkov's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
