The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webb misses with a low kick as Armstrong jumps back.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Armstrong is defended easily by Webb.

Armstrong bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Webb manages to get back to half guard.

Webb shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and Webb counters with a big head kick but Armstrong shrugs it off.

Webb has control of Armstrong's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Armstrong regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Armstrong squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Webb unloads with some shots from mount but Armstrong bucks and avoids them well.
Webb is breathing heavily.
Armstrong really wants to buck Webb off and get back to his feet.
Webb lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Webb takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Armstrong is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Armstrong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Webb. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Webb is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Webb!
