The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goldman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Goldman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Neil Goldman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Nilsson does no damage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Goldman, right into the meat.
Goldman avoids a punch combination nicely.

Goldman closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Goldman lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Goldman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Goldman throws a body punch but Nilsson moves out of range.

Goldman feints and then cracks Nilsson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nilsson down.
Nilsson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nilsson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Goldman misses with a looping left.

Goldman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Goldman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Nilsson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nilsson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Nilsson shoots in for a takedown but Goldman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Neil Goldman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Nilsson.
Nilsson looks gassed!
Goldman lands with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nilsson tries a head kick but it misses.
Goldman buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Goldman lunges at Nilsson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nilsson's hand.

Goldman Rushes Nilsson and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Nilsson is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Goldman Piles on the pressure and Nilsson crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
