Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Remigiusz Klajn!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Klajn drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Honda is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Honda is on top in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Klajn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Honda did well to prevent Klajn getting side control.

I looks like Klajn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Honda looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Klajn puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Honda is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Klajn pulls his head out easily.
Honda has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Honda is trying to maintain the position but Klajn is very close to passing his half guard.

Klajn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Honda is trying to defend but Klajn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Honda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Klajn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
