The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hughes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hughes has his foot on boyka's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. boyka works his way back into a safe position though.

boyka drops back looking for a leg! Hughes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hughes manages to kick boyka off! boyka jumps back into Hughes's guard.

Hughes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and boyka defends well.

boyka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hughes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, boyka has managed to get both his arms back between Hughes's legs - danger averted.

Hughes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. boyka defends it easily.

boyka would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Hughes has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think boyka should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hughes has tightened it up now! boyka should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
