The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dumen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boyd.
Dumen pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Dumen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Dumen throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Dumen moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Boyd has worked his arm free - good work by Boyd!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyd avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Dumen.
Dumen wants to stand but Boyd has his arm trapped.
Boyd tries to buck Dumen off but Dumen is having none of it.

Boyd tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dumen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Boyd is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dumen off and has taken his back!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dumen is really stuck here.
Dumen covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Boyd has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Boyd has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Dumen is in real trouble here. Boyd gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Dumen is tapping out! Boyd wins by rear naked choke!
