Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boe Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Zgorzalek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bam comes to the cage accompanied by Jacare. Boe Bam has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zgorzalek is looking to clinch but Bam is avoiding it.
Bam listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Zgorzalek fails in his attempt to clinch.

It looks like Marek Zgorzalek has been cut.
Zgorzalek fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Zgorzalek fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bam, pushing him back against the cage.
Bam jumps guard but Zgorzalek stands there with Bam around his waist. Bam gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bam tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Zgorzalek just stands there and leans against the cage.
Zgorzalek wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Zgorzalek misses with a punch on the inside.
Bam jumps guard but Zgorzalek stands there with Bam around his waist. Bam gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boe Bam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bam tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Zgorzalek smiles and moves away.

Bam drops Zgorzalek with a big left hand and mounts him. Zgorzalek is in big trouble!

Zgorzalek is rocked!
Bam throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Zgorzalek because Bam loaded up on that one.
Zgorzalek is still in real trouble! Can Bam finish him?

Bam has control of Zgorzalek's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Zgorzalek regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Zgorzalek seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bam unloads with some shots from mount but Zgorzalek bucks and avoids them well.

Zgorzalek defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bam.
Bam thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Bam working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Zgorzalek looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Bam! Submission of the night perhaps?
