PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jay Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Boxer Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Chelsea Dagger. Joe Boxer Jr is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Boxer Jr!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxer Jr avoids the head kick by Jones.

Boxer Jr shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jones tries to roll over but Boxer Jr keeps him under control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boxer Jr swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jones lands a big head kick that sends Boxer Jr tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Boxer Jr back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Boxer Jr gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Boxer Jr looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jones is defending well. Boxer Jr quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jones has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Boxer Jr celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
