The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a right hand that Tnornhammer ducks under and follows up with a left that Tnornhammer also avoids with ease.

Silva wants to control from the top but Tnornhammer keeps moving.
Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but Tnornhammer is retaining full guard.
Silva passes Tnornhammer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tnornhammer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tnornhammer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva throws a jab but it's blocked by Tnornhammer.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Tnornhammer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Tnornhammer shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tnornhammer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
