Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hunter Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sluce circles away.

Sluce feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sluce's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Sluce got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sluce has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sluce drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Sluce off! Sluce jumps back into Jackson's guard.
Sluce pushing down on Jackson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Sluce looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Jackson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Sluce missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Sluce decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Sluce looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Sluce is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Sluce looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jackson wants to improve his position but Sluce is controlling well.

Sluce trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom.
Jackson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sluce.
Jackson pushes Sluce off looking to stand but Sluce dives back in and keeps control.
Jackson looks gassed!

Sluce is looking for a kimura but Jackson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sluce to get the leverage.
Sluce wants to pass to mount but Jackson is defending the position.
Sluce throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Sluce has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Jackson defend it? Sluce steps over the head and cranks it - Jackson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sluce!
