The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyle misses with a looping right.

Boyle tries to keep at a distance but Smeltz has taken the fight into the clinch.
Boyle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Smeltz has him pressed against the cage.
Smeltz has Boyle pressed against the cage, preventing Boyle from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Smeltz dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Smeltz keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Boyle's efforts to push away.
Boyle tries to break free but Smeltz pushes him back against the cage.
Smeltz drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Smeltz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boyle fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boyle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Boyle looks to land a left hand but Smeltz moved out of range nicely.
Boyle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smeltz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Boyle sends Smeltz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Boyle is motioning to the referee to let Smeltz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Luka Smeltz has been cut.
Boyle thows a left - swing and a miss!
Smeltz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Boyle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Boyle grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Smeltz takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Boyle cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
