The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carano paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carano rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brown is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brown throws a head kick that half lands.
Carano tries a head kick but it misses.

Brown has taken the fight to the clinch.
Brown lands a body punch in the clinch.
Brown cracks Carano with a nice body shot.
Carano has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Brown avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Carano drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brown pulls his leg out and moves away.
Brown scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Carano throws a series of punches but Brown moves out of range.

Brown manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Brown works on Carano's body with a couple of short punches.
Brown content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Carano is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
