Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giuseppe Broadus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Jellybones. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Broadus was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Broadus crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jackson - the referee stops the clock and Broadus gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jackson. Broadus manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Broadus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jackson.
Broadus throws a nice looking combination but Jackson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jackson connects with a body shot.
Broadus tries to close the distance and clinch but Jackson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jackson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Broadus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Broadus drops his hands momentarily and Jackson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Well Jackson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
